1819 Small Date Liberty Head Large Cent Matron Head Design PCGS VF 30

  • $ 419.99

Description: A nice PCGS VF 30 copper 1819 Liberty Head with a Matron Head design large cent or penny. This coin is of the small date variety. The coin itself is better than the photos show and has much of its details evident. The details of the coins are very distinct and show some wear commensurate with its grade. The obverse shows some wear to the cheek of lady liberty. However, the rest of the coin shows minimum wear, just look at Liberty's head and the details of her features and the word LIBERTY which is nicely preserved on the obverse. The word one cent in the center of the reverse and the words United States of America are very distinct while the wreath has some wear but still is well preserved. The coin has wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. The coin is problem free and in original condition displaying a handsome patina. These coins were designed by Robert Scott.
