Nice 1805 Large Cent Draped Bust Design NGC Graded G6 BN

  • $ 499.99

Description: A nice NGC graded copper 1805 Liberty Head with a Draped Bust design large cent or penny. The coin itself is better than the scan shows and still shows the outline of the bust on the obverse. The details of the coins are considerably worn off commensurate with its good grade. The obverse shows the outline of the bust and a few of the hair lines but most of the facial features are worn off but still shows the date. The reverse shows considerable wear especially in the fraction "1/100" and the word STATES on top is almost totally gone. The word one cent in the center of the reverse and the words United and America are still legible and show considerable wear as does the wreath. The coin has a very nice chocolate brown color and even honest wear commensurate with the grade. The coin is problem free and in original condition displaying a handsome brown colored patina. These coins were designed by Robert Scott. Early US coins such as this are gradually getting difficult to find. Please carefully review scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.
