Description: Offered here is a copy of 420 first edition book titled "STIEGEL GLASS" authored by Frederick William Hunter and published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1914. The book is 272 pages and has a hardcover cloth binding. This book is signed by the author (see sixth photo) and states that it is one of 420 copies. It has illustrations and color photos. The book discusses Stiegel Glass, its history, and mystique. Stiegel Glass was made in Manheim Pennsylvania in the 18th century by the Henry William Stiegel a German immigrant. The book has the name of its original owner hand written on the first page past the front cover (see third photo). Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition:  Book is clean with no tears or markings on the pages. The hard cover has stains, fading, soiling and color loss. The spine shows discoloration, but is intact. The bonding is tight and has no breaks. There is a break between the front cover and the first page (see 3rd photo) and a similar break of the back cover and the last page. A nice copy of this limited-edition book to add to your collection or to supplement your library of old American Glass.
