Antique Ruby Flash Glass Souvenir Creamer for A. E. Mellon 1911 Atlantic City, New Jersey

Description:  Antique ruby flash glass nice size creamer. The creamer has its lower portion clear as is the base. The top portion of the creamer is ruby colored and has the following writing cleared "Atlantic City 1911." on one side and "EA. E. Mellon" on the other. The creamer has an applied handle, a spout, and a smooth shaped rim on the top. Both the bottom of the creamer and the base are molded with a raised design to imitate cut glass. The bottom has arches with raised round hemispheres arranged in a geometric pattern, while the bottom of the base has a molded six-point star (Star of David) pattern with again hemispheres arranged in a geometric pattern. This was a souvenir purchased in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1911. Most likely the original purchaser was a person called A. E. Mellon. Date:  1911 Origin:  Purchased at an estate sale in Southern New Jersey USA.

Size:  The creamer is ~4 1/4" high, is ~3 1/4" diameter at the base, and ~4 3/4" at its widest including the handle and spout.

Maker:  Unknown.

Marks:  Unmarked as to the maker. Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:  A nice piece to add to your collection of Ruby Flash Glass souvenirs or Atlantic City Related collection.

Condition:  The creamer is in excellent condition given that it is 102 years old. It has no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs.
