Dark Blue or Purple Carnival Glass Footed Bowl Heavy Grape Design Scalloped Edge

Description: A beautiful dark blue or blueish-purple Carnival Glass deep round bowl having six curved feet supporting it. The bowl has a beautiful raised design depicting bunches of grapes with grape leaves behind them and around them. The design also shows branches from the vine going all around the top. The deep bowl has an outwards flared scalloped smooth edge and curves sides ending in a small flat base with six feet surrounding it. The bowl rests on the feet when on a flat surface and looks great. The interior of the bowl is undecorated but has beautiful dark purple or blue iridescent coloring, while the decorated exterior has a beautiful purple or blue color with iridescent red, and purple coloring throughout. The design of this piece is just beautiful and the piece looks great and would display very nicely in your collection. Size: Measures ~6" diameter on top, ~1 1/2" diameter at the base, and is ~4 1/4" high. The feet themselves are ~1/2" high and surround the small circular base. The bowl weighs slightly over one pound.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is definitely a beautiful and colorful piece with vivid colors and well defined pattern. Definitely a quality piece worthy of a prominent spot in your collection.

Condition: It is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, chips, or repairs. It has a few minor scratches and several of the common issues you see in Carnival glass such as mold lines and light waviness of the glass on the outside from the glass flow in the mold.
