1924 Bronzed Brass? Medal Bulldog Club of America Bulldog's Head Obverse W.K.C.
Description: An unusual find. This is a large size medal (63 mm diameter and weighs ~102 grams) made of bronze or bronzed brass (we are not sure). The medal shows the head of a Bulldog in high relief within a circle in the center of the obverse with the legend "THE-BVLLDOG-CLVB-OF-AMERICA" along the edge surrounding the head with a studded dog collar below the dog's head. The reverse has The Letters W.K.C./1924 engraved within a wreath along the edge and a blank scroll on the bottom. The medal has a plain edge. We have searched high and low on the internet and were unable to find a similar example. The medal has a beautiful brown patina and is in an extremely fine to almost uncirculated condition. A great unusual medal to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
