Condition: The medal is in excellent condition and if it was a coin, I would grade it as mint state uncirculated. The medal has no wear with minimum surface marks or scratches. It has what I view as beautiful golden bronze with deep brown patina representing one of the two surface finishes for this issue. The medal is great looking and is problem free. The box is a bit soiled, has breaks at the corners and along the edges, has markings on the front and back in ink and pencil, and has a white partial label with ink writing on it saying 79. The medal is sandwiched between two pieces of felt like material and the literature pamphlet is intact but lightly soiled. A great medal to add to your collection. Please view photos for additional condition information and to appreciate the beauty of the piece.
