1907 Silver Coin German East Africa One Rupie/Rupee Lustrous Uncirculated
Description: Beautiful uncirculated silver coin dated 1907 from German East Africa. This is a One Rupie or Rupee silver coin. This coin depicts the bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II in an armor, with a crowned eagle on top of his helmet, facing left with the words "GUILELMUS II IMPERATOR" surrounding it, on the obverse. The reverse depicts the words "DUTSCH OSTAFRIKA" above the denomination "1 RUPIE 1907" in three lines below it within a wreath. There is the mint mark "J" below the date for Hamburg. The coin is ~11.6 grams of 0.917silver and measures about 30 millimeters in diameter. It is KM-10. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this coin as uncirculated with considerable residual luster. The coin has some hairlines or scratches and a few bag marks.
