Description: A beautiful very fine or much better 1944 Belgian Congo fifty francs silver coin. The coin depicts an African elephant moving left on the obverse with the date below. The reverse shows the denomination flanked by stars and indication that the coin if from the Bank of Belgian Congo. This is KM 27, weighs ~17.5 gm. and is ~35 mm. Condition: I would grade the coin as a good very fine or much better with nice toning. It has wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. The coin has all of its details being well preserved and has nice eye appeal. It has some scratches, minor dings, and some bag marks. The coin is beautiful and with nice toning and some imbedded soiling within the legends on the reverse. The coin is much better than the photos suggest with nice eye appeal.
