1978 Reserve Bank of Rhodesia 5 Dollars Banknote P #36b Choice About Unc 58 EPQ
Description: A nice choice about uncirculated Banknote from Rhodesia. This is the 20th October 1978 five dollars currency note issued by the Reserve Bank of Rhodesia. The front of the banknote brown and depicts the bank's logo in the center near the top, the Rhodesia arms to the right and a Giraffe standing in the bottom left corner on the front. The back, which is also brown in color, depicts the image of two lions in the bush in gray colors. The front of the banknote displays the date, the denomination, the serial number and one signature while the back only displays the name of the bank and the denomination. The banknote has a watermark depicting the bust of C. Rhodes as well as a solid security thread right of center. This particular note has the serial number M/18 268060 shown twice in red on the front. The note is graded Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It has squared corners with no observable rounding and shows no roughness along the edges. It has no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears, and no splits. The note is clean and has no stains. It shows minimum signs of circulation. Be that as it may, the note is problem free and looks great. A nice note, which would make a great addition to your collection.
