Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Very nice antique China cup and saucer with a beautiful and rather rare design having bold and fresh colors. This would make a great addition to your collection of cups and saucers, Gaudy Welsh pottery collection, or Staffordshire pottery collection.
Condition: Cup and saucer are in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines, repairs, chips, or crazing to the glaze. The colors are fresh and bold. The design shows some loss of coloration especially along the rim of both the cup and saucer. There are also pops in the paint throughout and surface defects, which are common in this type of pottery, such as slubs, uneven spots and some inclusions into the China, which are original to the making. Be that as it may, this is a beautiful set that is hard to come by in such good condition and is worthy of a spot in your collection. Please see photos to appreciate the beauty of this set and for additional condition information.
