Beautiful 1833 Coronet Head Large Cent NGC About Uncirculated 58 Brown
Description: A nice NGC AU58 BN copper 1833 Liberty Head with a Matron or Coronet Head design large cent or penny. The coin itself is better than the photos suggest and has much of its details evident. The details of the coins are very distinct with minimum wear commensurate with its about uncirculated grade. The coin has a nice brown color which shows nice eye appeal. The coin shows the details of the facial elements as well as the hair for lady liberty with minor wear on the obverse. The reverse shows all of the details distinctly and shows minor wear to the wreath but the lettering is well preserved. The coin has minimum wear commensurate with its age and about uncirculated status. The coin is problem free and in original condition displaying a handsome brown colored patina. These coins were designed by Robert Scott. Early US coins such as this are gradually getting difficult to find. The coin is graded About Uncirculated 58 Brown (AU 58 BN) by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: Originally 10.89 grams of a copper and is ~28-29 mm in diameter. The coin has the plain edge design.

Condition: The coin is graded and comes in a plastic slab by NGC. It is graded as AU 58 BN. The coin has a beautiful brown patina and minimum wear commensurate with its age and about uncirculated status. It has a few scratches, dings, and bag marks.
