Beautiful Porcelain Figurine Tiziano Galli Capodimonte Italy Sisters Sculpture
Description: A beautiful porcelain figurine by the highly collectible Italian sculptor Tiziano Galli. The piece is titled Sisters S and signed by Tiziano Galli. The sculpture depicts a young girl in a red polka dot dress carrying what would be her little sister in one arm and a basket with a bird (duck?) in the other arm. The little girl is wearing a blue dress. Both children have light brown hair and are wearing black shoes. The older sister is standing on a green colored (grass) raised round base. The base has green felt on the bottom. The base is marked as to the subject, the maker and has the Capodimonte mark of the crown N and indicate that the piece is made in Italy. The sculpture is highly detailed and very colorful. Just look at the details of the girls' faces, their hair, and their dresses. Just a great piece in great condition that would look great in your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southern New Jersey. The piece is made in Italy.
Size: The figurine is ~6 1/4" high with the base measuring ~4" in diameter and the piece weighing about one pound and one ounce.
Maker: Capodimonte with the art work by Tiziano Galli.
Marks: On top of the front of the base the words "SORELLE SCULTORE TIZIANO GALLI" which translated to sisters sculpture Tiziano Galli. The back of the base has the crowned N mark of Capodimonte and the words "MADE-ITALY-DEPOSEE."
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A beautiful figurine that would display nicely in your collection or would make a nice decorative accent around your home.
Condition: The figurine is in great condition with no breaks, cracks, chips, hairlines, crazing or repairs. We have carefully examined the piece and we did not see any chips or losses. However, since these pieces are very delicate and has parts that extend outwards and are thin, there may be a spot that we missed, but we could not find such a spot despite the fact that we used a 10X loop to view the piece. The piece is also very clean and the colors are fresh and vivid. Please see photos for additional condition information.
