Fenton Carnival Glass Iridescent Blue Ruffled Bowl Cherry Chain Pattern
Description: A beautiful lustrous or iridescent blue or dark purple colored Carnival Glass ruffled bowl. This piece which has dark purple coloring over what looks like iridescent dark blue has a very lustrous or iridescent appearance both on the front and the back. It is a beautiful bowl with raised design depicting clusters of 6 plump cherries within a circle, surrounded by foliage and other elements circling a central cluster of cherries, with a twisted chain all along the top below the rim. The exterior shows a pattern with orange trees. This is a very busy design both on the inside and outside. The ruffled edge of the bowl is serrated or toothed. The bowl has a round foot and magnificent silvery coloring on the back. The foot is blue on the back but still shows the iridescent coloring on the inside of the bowl and shows the Fenton name within an oval in the center. This bowl represents an original Fenton design. This is a very popular and difficult to come by design. The piece is of solid glass cast construction. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size: Measures ~10" diameter on top, ~3 7/8" diameter at the foot, and ~ 2 3/4" at its highest point. The bowl weighs about 2 pound and 5 ounces.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a beautiful and colorful piece with vivid colors and well defined pattern. Definitely a nice piece worthy of a prominent spot in your collection.
Condition: It is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, and no repairs. It does have the normal defects carnival glass normally displays such as mold lines, some defects in the glass surface, and a few air bubbles trapped in the glass.
