Royal Doulton China December 1987 Figure of The Month By Peggy Davis N. H. 2696
Description: A nice 1987 porcelain or bone china figurine of a lady standing in a beautiful long white dress having Holly leaves, berries and flowers along the bottom. The woman has a greenish gray under shirt at her chest. The top of the dress is also ruffled. She has a long neck and beautiful gray hair. The piece is marked to indicate that this figurine is part of the Figure of The Month collection and that this particular figure is the December edition in 1987. The piece comes with a small card stock round printed label attached to it with a golden thread which we will send with the piece. The figurine was Modeled by Peggy Davis. This is a piece of hand painted and nicely crafted bone china from the Royal Doulton company. It has the number N. H. 2952. Date: This figurine is dated 1987.

Size: It is ~7 3/4" high, with the base being by ~3 1/2" by ~3". The figurine weighs about 13 ounces.
Maker: Royal Doulton, Modeled by Peggy Davis.
Marks: Has the Royal Doulton mark with the notation Handmade and hand decorated in a semi circle. The piece is also marked "ROYAL DOULTON(R); N. H.2696; FIGURE OF THE MONTH; DECEMBER; Modeled by Peggy Davis; (c) 1987 Royal Doulton" and has the letters LL in green and the number 22 in black under glaze on the base.
Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, chips, crazing to the glaze, or repairs. The piece shows some light soiling on the base, but truly nothing to worry about.
