Scarce 1941 Max Mehl US & Foreign Coins and Paper Money Illustrated Price List
Description: We have here is an original 1941 price list issued by B. Max Mehl the legendary Numismatist who was in Fort Worth Texas in his own building. The price list labeled as being a list of prices for United States and foreign coins and paper money. It is full of coins, images of the offices of Max Mehl's company, coins, tokens, and a photo of Max Mehl himself. The booklet which measures ~7 3/8" by ~4 1/4" and has 56 pages full of images and prices and comes in its original mailing envelop. It is bound in orange cardstock soft cover and its pages as well as the cover are in great condition. The booklet also includes a return envelope, a special price list, a price list for small cents, and a blank order form. A great historic document for the numismatic enthusiast. Condition: The booklet pages are clean and intact as is the cover. The piece was obviously not used much. The pages have darkened with age and have minor foxing. The softcover of the booklet has separated from the booklet itself and is now loose and the staples which held it show some rust signs. The original mailing envelops in which the booklet came is in rough condition with wear along the edges and has its closing flap separated from the envelop. Finally, the return envelope included with the price list has its flap closed and glued to it so someone has opened it on top it using a letter opener. Be that as it may, this is still a very nice and rather rare historical numismatic document worthy of a spot in your collection. please see photos for additional condition information.
