Soft Paste China Alphabet or ABC Child Dish Oriental Hotel Transfer Decoration Relief Molded Alphabet Letters
Description: Antique transfer ware flat baby dish. This small dish has a flat base with a raised foot. The sides are extending outwards to a slightly slanted wide edge ending in a plain rim. This dish has relief molded alphabet letters on the edge of the plate. The flat center is decorated with a transfer print of a brown building accented with blue and green polychrome colors with the words "ORIENTAL HOTEL" under the scene. Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Very nice china alphabet baby dish with nice scene and subject.
Condition: Plate is in very good condition given its age and utilitarian function. It has no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It does have crazing and a two or three small glaze chips, which are difficult to see but are there. Please see photos to appreciate the condition and beauty of the plate.
