Vintage Bone China Colorful English Royal Doulton Figurine Cherie in Blue Dress H.N. 2341
Description: A nice vintage porcelain or bone china figurine of a lady standing in a blue period dress with a blue head cover having a yellowish pink bow. She is holding what looks like a yellowish pink hanky in her hands. Her dress has white ruffles at the end of the sleeves. She has red cheeks and lips and brown hair. This is a piece of hand painted and nicely crafted bone china from the Pretty Ladies Series. The piece is titled "Cherie" and is known to be the creation of the Artist Peggy Davies. Size: It is ~5 1/2" high, with the base being by 3 3/8" by ~ 3 5/8". The piece weighs a little over 7 ounces.
Maker: Royal Doulton, Doulton & Co., Limited Marks: Has the Royal Doulton mark and is also marked "Cherie; NH 2341; Corp 1965" and has additional numbers below it all.
