Description: A nice toned about uncirculated 1968 (1387 AH) One Egyptian Pound silver coin. The coin depicts the Power Station associated with the Aswan High Dam and commemorates the fact that on January 9, 1968, the power station started generating electric power. The coin is labeled (Al Gomhouriah al-Arabiah al-Mutahida) United Arab Republic as opposed to Arab Republic of Egypt. The coin was minted when Egypt and Syria where united into a confederation. It is KM-415 and weighs 25 grams of 0.72 silver. It measures approximately 40 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this coin as toned about uncirculated. The coin's details are very well preserved and showing no minimum wear to the highest points. The coin is lightly toned and shows some minor soiling. It does have some bag marks and minor nicks to the rim. Please see photo to judge grading and for additional condition information.
