Germany 1924 Silver Medal LZ-126 Zeppelin Transatlantic Flight Graf von Zeppelin
Description: A beautiful 1963 silver restrike of the 1924 medal issued by the German Weimer Republic to commemorate the first transatlantic flight of the Graff Zeppelin. The medal which is dated 1924, depicts the bust of Ferdinand Graf Von Zeppelin facing right on the obverse with his name spelled out under the bust. The reverse shows the LZ-126 (ZR III) Zeppelin flying left over New York City. The silver medal has a nice toned matte finish and looks great. It is graded SP62 (Specimen 62) by PCGS gold shield and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. A great looking medal, in good uncirculated condition to add to your collection.
