Description: A nice large and heavy golden bronze medal from 1967. This is the Society of Medalists fifty seventh issue medal. The obverse of the medal has the image of a mermaid riding on mythological sea-horse. The reverse shows a flying saucer with laser beams. The image has the legend "BEYOND THE SKY AND BENEATH THE SEA/ARE KNOWN BUT TO GOD AND FANTASY" in two lines above the flaying saucer.
