1979 Switzerland Silver Medal Golden Jubilee of Zurich Zoo Turtle & Tiger MS 68
Description: A nice Swiss silver medal from 1979. The medal commemorates the 50th anniversary or the Golden Jubilee of the Zurich Zoo. The medal depicts a turtle on the obverse with the legend ZOO ZURICH below it and the dates 1929-1979 above it. The reverse shows a tiger facing left surrounded with what we believe are rocks. The medal is graded MS 68 by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. It has some reddish toning and no observable wear. The medal is 33 millimeters in diameter as noted on the slab.
