1963 Silver Coin 25 Centavos Dominican Republic 100th Anniversary Restoration
Description: A beautiful choice uncirculated silver coin from the Dominican Republic. This is the 1963 twenty-five centavos silver coin issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the restoration oof the republic. The coin depicts the image of a native princess in profile surrounded by the legend "25 CENTAVOS*6 1/4 GRAMOS*1963*" along the edge of the obverse. The reverse has the Dominican Republic's arms in the center surrounded by the legend "1ER CENTENARIO DE LA RESTAURACION DE LA REPUBLICA" along the edge and the dates 1863-1963 below the arms. The coin is uncirculated and is graded MS66 by PCGS and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. This is a beautiful coin with great eye appeal.
