  • $ 97.77

Description: A toned extremely fine or better small silver coin from Great Britain. This is the 1787 silver six pence coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays the bust of King George III (King of England during the American Revolution) facing right on the obverse. The coin has the words "GEOTGIVS.III. DEI. GRATIA." surrounding the king's bust along the edge. The reverse displays a cross in the center surrounded by shields and crowns. The design is surrounded by the letters "M.B.F.E.T.II.REX.F.D.B.ET.L.D.SR.I.A.T.E.T.E" with the date 1787 below the Irish shield. The coin is nicely toned and has very nice eye appeal. The Hanoverian Shield has hearts in it making the coin KM 606.2. The coin has a reeded edge, weighs ~2.9 grams of 0.925 silver (sterling) and is ~21.5 mm in diameter. A very nice coin to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
