1944-D UNC Silver Coin Curacao Kingdom of Netherlands 2 1/2 Gulden PCGS MS64

Description: A beautiful mint state uncirculated silver coin from Curacao the Dutch Caribbean Island. This is the 1944-D two and half Gulden coin issued the Kingdom of The Netherlands. The coin was minted in Denver USA as evidenced by the mint mark D. It depicts the bust of queen Wilhelmina facing left with the legend "WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN" along the edge surrounding the bust on the obverse. The reverse has a crowned Arms flanked by the denomination, the legend "MUNT VAN CURACO" surrounding it, the date below it and the mint mark "D" at the edge. The coin is graded MS 64 by PCGS and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is beautiful, clean, problem free, with beautiful luster and great eye appeal. It is KM# 46, weighs ~25 grams of 0.720 silver with a diameter of ~37 mm. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: This is 2 1/2 Gulden, which weighs about 25 grams of 0.720 silver and measures approximately 37 mm in diameter.

The details of the coin are extremely well preserved with no wear commensurate with its mint uncirculated state. The coin is clean, shiny, problem free, and has great eye appeal.
