Description: Beautiful Deep Cameo ANACS Proof 67 silver coin from Egypt. This is the 1979 (1399 AH) One Egyptian Pound, crown size, silver coin commemorating the 100th Year Anniversary of the Bank of Land Reform. The coin depicts the famous ancient Egyptian sitting scribe with scenes of ancient Egyptian farmers harvesting wheat and above them ancient Egyptian farmers plowing with an oxen driven plow all on the obverse. Just a great looking design. The reverse of the coin indicates that the coin is to commemorate the centennial of the bank and has the date and denomination. The reverse also has indication that it is a coin from the Arab Republic of Egypt. All of this is surrounded by lotus flowers. It is KM-491 and weighs 15 grams of 0.72 silver. It measures approximately 35 mm in diameter. The coin is graded PF67 DCAM by ANACS and comes in a plastic slab so marked.
