Description: A beautiful uncirculated copper coin from Ceylon below India in the Indian ocean. This is the 1914 one cent coin depicting the crowned bust of King George V of Great Britain facing left on the obverse. There is the legend "GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA" surrounding the king's bust along the edge of the coin on the obverse. The reverse shows a Palm tree within a circle in the center with the legend "CEYLON ONE CENT 1914" surrounding the image of the tree. Condition: I would grade this coin as beautiful uncirculated with a nice toning in the field with luster showing along the edge of both sides of the coin as well around the images. The coin shows no wear and has minimum surface marks such as scratches and bag marks. The coin has the plain edge and has great eye appeal. The coin is problem free and is much better than the photos show. Please see photos for additional condition information.
