Egypt Silver 1981 AD Egypt Commemorative 1 Pound Silver Coin World Food Day MS64
Description: Beautiful lustrous uncirculated 1981 (1401 AH) One Egyptian Pound brilliant and very lustrous silver coin. The coin, which is graded by ANACS as Mint State (MS) 64, shows a design depicting an ancient Egyptian deity holding food in his hands with a peasant harvesting wheat and cows in the background on the obverse. The obverse also indicates that it is the World Food Day in both Arabic and English gives the date October 16, 1981 and indicates that it is a FAO related event. The reverse is all in beautiful decorative Arabic Calligraphy and an arabesque pattern showing the dates, the denomination, and the fact that it is from The Arab Republic of Egypt. Just a great looking coin that retains all of its mint luster and has beautiful shiny fields. It is graded by ANACS as MS 64 and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is KM-523 should weigh ~15.0 grams of 0.72 silver and measure ~34.5 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded as MS 64 by ANACS and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is beautiful and lustrous with all the details being very well preserved and having full mint luster. The coin is much better than the photos suggest. It does have some minor scratches and bag marks. However, the coin is great looking and would make a great addition to your collection.
