Description:   A beautiful about uncirculated 1825 one shilling silver coin from the United Kingdom. The coin, which has a reeded edge, displays King George IV's bare bust facing left on the obverse and a crowned lion above a crown with a rose below on the reverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIVS IV. DEI. GRATIA" surrounding the king's bust and the date 1825 below it on the obverse. The reverse is marked "BRITANNIARUM.REX.FIDEI.DDEFENSOR" along the edge surrounding the central design. The coin comes within a slab and is graded as about uncirculated AU 58 by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation. The coin is nicely toned and is great looking. Size and Weight:  The coin weighs ~5.6552 gm of 92.5% silver and is ~25 mm in diameter.
