Nice 1947 Crown Size Silver Coin Panama One Balboa Choice About Uncirculated
Description: A beautiful about uncirculated or better crown size silver coin from Panama. This is the 1947 One or Un Balboa coin displaying the bust of Vasco Nunez de Balboa facing left on the obverse. The reverse has the figure of a standing woman with her arm on a shield while facing left with markings of silver purity (0.900) and weight (26.73 grams) in the field behind the woman, the words Republica De Panama along the edge and the date below. It is KM 13 weighing ~26.7 gm and measuring about 38 mm in diameter. The coin has a reeded edge. The coin is a beautiful with residual luster and is problem free. It is beautiful and has minimum observable wear. This is a rather scarce coin with a mintage of only 500,000.
