Description: A beautiful large size silver coin from the Swiss Confederation or Switzerland. This is the 1909 B five francs Swiss coin issued by the Swiss Confederation. The coin depicts the image of a woman's bust with a wreath in her hair surrounded by the word CONFEDERATIO HELVTICA 1909 on the obverse. The reverse has shield having the Swiss cross dividing the denomination all surrounded by a wreath and the letter "B" in the bottom. The coin has raised stars and the words "DOMINUS PROVIDEBIT" separated by the afore mentioned raised stars. This is a very nice large (the flan measures 37 millimeters) silver coin weighing about 25 grams of 90% purity silver that is nicely toned and having great eye appeal. This coin is of low mintage with only 120,000 pieces minted. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: This is a five francs silver coin weighing 25 grams of 0.900 silver and measuring about 37 mm in diameter.

Condition: I would grade this beautiful coin as Very Fine or better. It has some minor scratches throughout as well as a few light nicks and bag marks. It also has some wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. A beautiful coin which would make a worthy addition to your Swiss coin collection.
