1926 Silver Small Coin 5 Cents Straits Settlement Malaya George V England MS 66
Description: A beautiful uncirculated 1926 small silver coin from the Straits Settlements in the Malaya Peninsula in southeastern Asia. This is a 5 cents coin and has a reeded edge. The coin displays the bust of King George V of England facing left on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "Georg V King and Emperor of India" surrounding the king's bust. The reverse displays the denomination within a beaded circle with the words "Straits Settlements. Five Cents 1926" surrounding it. The coin is great looking, lustrous and shows no wear commensurate with its grade of Mint State 66. The coin is graded MS (Mint State) 66 by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. Size and weight: The coin should weigh ~1.36 grams of 0.600 silver and measures ~15 mm in diameter.
