1980 Bronze Masonic Medal Benjamin Franklin Craftsman Grand Lodge Pennsylvania
Description: This is a large size bronze medal (76 mm diameter and weighs ~244 grams) issued by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The medal shows the head of a man in high relief in the center of the obverse with two circles of short lines surrounding it. The obverse has the legend "GRAND LODGE OF PENNSYLVANIA VIRTUTE SILENTIO AMORE" in raised lettering along the edge surrounding the central design. The reverse shows a man in an apron working a printing press with the name "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN" above it and the word "CRAFTSMAN" under it. The edge of the medal is marked "(c) 1980 MEDALLIC ART CO. DANBURY, CT.-BRONZE". The medal has a beautiful a nice dark patina on the obverse and a brassy coloring on the reverse. It is in uncirculated condition.
