Description: Beautiful uncirculated proof silver coin from Egypt. This is the 1980 (1400 AH) One Egyptian Pound silver coin commemorating the Applied Profession or Applied Professionals Day. The coin depicts the images of ancient Egyptians of various applied professions with the date 25 March 1975 below the images and indication that it is Applied Professionals Day above them on the obverse. The reverse of the coin has the date 1980 AD and 1400 AH as well as the denomination. The reverse also has indication that it is a coin from the Arab Republic of Egypt on top of the reverse and a nice Arabesque design on the bottom. It is KM-510 and weighs 15 grams of 0.72 silver. It measures approximately 35 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: 1980 AD - 1400 AH.

Mint: Egypt.

Size and Weight: This is a one pound, weighs 15 grams and is ~35 mm in diameter. The coin has mintage of 3,000 proof pieces.

Condition: I would grade this coin as uncirculated proof with all of its details being well preserved. It is beautiful with no wear that we could find and is problem free. It does have a few minor scratches and some very minor bag marks, which are inconsequential and are mentioned here for completeness.
