1990 Egypt 5 Pounds Silver Coin 14th Soccer World Championship Italy PCGS MS 68
Description: Beautiful lustrous choice uncirculated silver coin from Egypt. This is the 1990 (1410 AH) five Egyptian pounds, nice size, silver coin commemorating the "XIV FOOTBALL (soccer) WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ITALIA 1990". The coin depicts the image of two Egyptian goddesses at a pyramid with a football on top on the obverse. The reverse show indication that the coin is from Arab Republic of Egypt with the denomination within wings. The reverse also shows the date above the wings and the legend "14th World Cup of Football" below them in Arabic. It is KM-679 and should weigh ~17.5 grams of 0.720 silver. It measures approximately 37 mm in diameter. The coin is of limited mintage of 600 pieces. It is graded MS 68 by PCGS gold shield and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Condition: The coin is graded by PCGS as MS 68 and comes in a gold shield holder that is so labeled. The coin has a nice satiny surface and a subtle touch of champagne tone. It shows no signs of wear and no surface marks. A rare and seldom seen coin of a mintage of 600 pieces that is absolutely gorgeous.
