2022 Proof American Liberty Silver Medal + COA SOLD OUT AT THE US MINT (NIB)

Description: Offered here is the United States Mint American Liberty Silver Medal™, which celebrates modern interpretations of the concept of American Liberty, exploring the theme beyond the classical tradition of portraits of allegorical “Liberty.” Since its establishment more than 225 years ago, the United States Mint has issued a vast array of coins with the concept of liberty personified by allegorical figures. The 2022 American Liberty Silver Medal offers a different interpretation—a bold and breathtaking representation of the determination and power of the passion for American liberty. The medal is composed of 1.000 troy ounce of 99.9% silver. The obverse features a wild American Mustang horse, bucking off a western-style saddle, evoking the throwing off of the yoke of British rule during the American Revolution. The horse is centered on a rising sun. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY” and “2022.” The reverse depicts a close-up view of a bald eagle. The inscription is "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Each medal is hand-packaged in a black presentation box with a decorative sleeve and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Only 75,000 medals were minted and they sold out on the first day of issue due to high demand and an exceptionally beautiful design. Condition: The medal comes in its original clear plastic holder within its original box and in its original wrapper. The medal is in proof condition with mirror like fields. It shows no wear or surface marks that we could see. The box is in excellent condition while the sleeve has a few minor bumps and surface marks. All in all, a beautiful medal, that is no longer available at the mint, to add too you collection.
