Beautiful 1981 Egypt Silver Coin 5 Pounds International Year of the Child Proof
Description: Beautiful uncirculated proof 1981 Five Egyptian Pounds silver coin. The coin shows a ball with designs within it and children dancing around it on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF THE CHILD" in English and Arabic surrounding the design. The reverse is all in Arabic and has the words "Arab Republic of Egypt" the date both in CE and AH and the denomination spelled out in beautiful Arabic calligraphy in the center within a circle. A nice-looking coin of low mintage (10000) and having a reeded edge. This is KM 533 measuring ~36 millimeters in diameter and weighs ~24 grams of 0.925 silver.
