Beautiful Bronze Coin from Straits Settlement Malaya Peninsula South Eastern Asia 1916 King George V of England 1/4 Cent Uncirculated NGCMS 64 RB
Description: A beautiful uncirculated mint state 1916 bronze coin from the Straits Settlements in the Malaya Peninsula in southeastern Asia. This is a 1/4 cent coin and has a reeded edge. The coin displays the bust of King George V of England facing left on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "Georg V King and Emperor of India" surrounding the king's bust. The reverse displays the denomination within a beaded circle with the words "Straits Settlements . Quarter Cent 1916" surrounding it. The coin comes within a slab and is graded as Mint State MS 64 RB (Red Brown) by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC). The coin is great looking and retains quite a bit of its original mint luster. Please carefully review the images provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
