Description: Beautiful uncirculated copper coin with residual luster from the Congo Free State. This is the coin with a central hole having the 5 Centimes denomination. This is the 1888/7 variety listed in Krause as KM #3. The obverse has a radiating crowned monogram of King Leopold of Belgium in the center surrounded with the legend "LEOPOLD II ROI DES BELGES SOUV. L'ETAT INDEP. DU CONGO" along the edge. The reverse shows A star in the center with the date and denomination. This is KM #3 measuring ~30 mm in diameter. The coin is graded by PCGS MS 64 BN and is truly beautiful. Please carefully review the scan provided as it is part and parcel of our description.

Date: 1888/7.

Mint: The coin has a mint mark "W" to the right of the date. The coin was issued by Congo Free State.

Size and Weight: This is a copper 5 Centimes measuring ~30 mm in diameter.
