Beautiful Copper Coin 1831 Penny from Great Britain King William IV NGC Graded XF 45 BN
Description: A beautiful nicely toned extremely fine copper coin from Great Britain. This is the 1831 one penny bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays the bust of King William IV facing right on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words "GULIELMUS IIII DEIGRATIA" surrounding the king's head with the date 1831 below the bust on the obverse. The reverse is marked "BRITANNIIAE:REX FID:DEF:" surrounding the seated Britannia with a rose below the design. The coin is graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as Extremely Fine (XF) 45 with Brown Toning (BN). It comes in a plastic slab and is labeled by NGC. Early British copper coins such as these are getting more difficult to find especially in such high grade. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded Extremely fine 45 with brown coloring by NGC (XF 45 BN). It comes in a slab and is labeled as such. The coin has all of its nicely preserved, has a nice brown chocolate coloring, has some minor scratches, minor bag marks and wear commensurate with its age and circulated state.
