Beautiful Copper Nickel Coin 1917 AD or 1335 AH Egyptian One Millieme Sultan of Egypt Hussein Kamel Uncirculated NGC MS64
Description: A beautiful uncirculated 1917 (1335 AH) Egyptian one millieme or one tenth of one piastre copper-nickel coin. The coin, which is graded as Mint State MS64 by NGC, depicts the name of Hussein Kamil or Hussain Kamel as the Sultan of Egypt during the British occupation of Egypt and the date of issue 1335 AH as well as his accession date of 1333 AH on the obverse. The coin shows the denomination and the date 1917on the reverse. It also has a central hole, which was common in those days. It is KM-313 and weighs ~3 grams. It measures approximately 18 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Mint: Egypt, actually these coins were minted in Birmingham England as evidenced by the H mint mark on the bottom of the reverse.
Size and Weight: This is a one millieme or one tenth of a piastre, weighs ~3 grams and is ~18 mm in diameter.

Condition: The coin is graded by NGC as Mint State MS64 and comes in a plastic slab marked as such. The coin has all the details completely preserved and has very nice eye appeal. The coin is much better than the scan shows. It does have some scratches, some minor bag marks, and no observable wear commensurate with its age and mint state status.
