Beautiful Sarawak Copper Coin 1880 One Cent Charles J. Brooke Bust Mint Mark H
Description: A beautiful extremely fine or better copper coin from Sarawak. This is the 1880 copper one cent coin. The coin displays the bust of Charles J. Brooke, the ruler of Sarawak at the time, facing left with the legend "C. BROOKE RAJAH" surrounding it on the obverse. The reverse displays the denomination in the center within a wreath and the legend "SARAWAK 1880" along the edge. The coin has a plain edge and is nicely toned with great eye appeal. It is KM 6, weighs ~9.3 grams and is ~29.5 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

The coin has all of its details well preserved with minimum observable wear commensurate with its circulated state. The coin has a few scratches and minor bag marks to the surface, which can be seen in the photos. However, these do not affect the coin's quality or beauty. The coin is also nicely toned with some soiling and a couple of minor stains but has great eye appeal. A great looking coin that is problem free.
