The coin, which has raised lettering on the edge, displays King George III's laureate head facing right on the obverse and St. George slaying the dragon on the reverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIUS III. D: G: BRITANNIARUM: REX F: D:" surrounding the king's head on the obverse. It also has the date 1818 below the king's head on the obverse. The reverse is marked "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" surrounding St. George's image. The edge has the legend "ANNO REGNI LVII.DECUS ET TUTAMEN" in raised lettering. This is KM 675. The coin is nicely toned and is great looking. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: 1818.

Mint: Great Britain.

Size and Weight: The coin weighs ~28 gm of 92.5% silver and is ~37.5 mm in diameter.

References: It is KM #675.

Condition: I would grade the coin as beautiful toned extremely fine or better. It has all of its details well preserved with minimum wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. It has a few bag marks and some scratches which do not distract from the coin's beauty and quality. This is a scarce coin of low mintage (about 155,000) and a great find is such condition with such beautiful toning. The coin is problem free and has a nice appearance. Please see scan for additional condition information.
