Beautiful Silver Coin from Great Britain 1823 Half Crown King George IV Large Laureate Head Crowned Arms Extremely Fine ANACS EF 40
Description: A beautiful extremely fine 1823 half crown silver coin from the United Kingdom. The coin, which has a plain edge, displays King George IV's large laureate head facing left on the obverse and a crowned arms within order chain on the reverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIUS IIII. D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:" surrounding the king's head on the obverse. The reverse is marked "ANNO 1823" at the bottom of the coin. This is the second reverse variety of this rather very rare coin. It is KM 688. The coin comes within a slab and is graded as extremely fine EF 40 by the ANACS. The coin is nicely toned and is great looking.
