Description: A beautiful nicely toned about uncirculated bronze coin from Great Britain. This is the 1884 one penny bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays Queen Victoria on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words "VOCTORIA D: G: BRITT. REG: F: D:" surrounding the queen's head with her hair pulled and facing left on the obverse. The reverse is marked "ONE PENNY 1884" surrounding the seated Britannia. The coin is graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as About Uncirculated (AU) 58 with Brown Toning (BN). It comes in a plastic slab and is labeled by NGC. Early British coins such as these are gradually getting more difficult to find especially in such high grade. Condition: The coin is graded about uncirculated 58 with brown coloring by NGC. It comes in a slab and is labeled as such. The coin has all of its details well preserved, has some minor scratches, minor bag marks and wear commensurate with its age and circulated state.
