Description: An brilliant uncirculated mostly red 1366 AH or 1947 AD Egyptian one millieme (tenth of a Piaster or Qirsh) bronze coin. The coin depicts the uniformed bust of king Farouk the first facing left and wearing a fez on the obverse. The reverse has the denomination, the AH and the AD dates and saying "al-mamlakah al masryah" or the Egyptian Kingdom. The coin has its original mint luster and has most of its original red colored. Please view scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
Date: 1947.
Mint: Egypt (actually these were minted in England and have the mint mark H for Birmingham England).
Size and Weight: This is a 1/10 of a Qirsh or one millieme.
References: It is KM #358.
Condition: I would grade this coin as brilliant uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved, having its original mint luster and being mostly red with very nice eye appeal. The coin is beautifully and has a beautiful mostly red colored. It is much better than the scan shows. The coin has very nice eye appeal. Please see photo for condition information.
