Egypt Crown Size Silver Coin 1916 AD-1335 AH Nicely Toned Extremely Fine Twenty Piastres, Sultan Hussein Kamel
Description: Beautiful extremely fine or better 1916 (1335 AH) twenty Egyptian piastres crown size silver coin. The coin depicts the name of Hussain Kamil as the Sultan of Egypt during the British occupation of Egypt and his accession date of 1333 AH on the obverse. The coin is also labeled Al Sultannah al-Masriyah (Sultanate of Egypt) and shows the denomination on the reverse. The coin weighs about 27.6 grams of 0.833 silver and measures approximately 40 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the images presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this coin as a nice extremely fine or better having all the details well preserved. The coin has very nice eye appeal and is nicely toned. It has imbedded soiling within the calligraphy, which can be seen on both the obverse and reverse. The coin is much better than the images show. It has some surface scratches, bag marks and a few rim nicks all of which can be seen in the photos. The coin has wear commensurate with its circulated status.
