Description: A beautiful silver crown size coin from Mexico. This is the 1968 twenty five pesos coin with mint mark Mo. The coin was issued in 1968 during the 19th Olympiad or 19th Olympic summer games held in Mexico City in 1968. The coin depicts a dancing native with Olympic rings below his feet on the obverse with the legend JUEGOS DE LA XIX OLIPIADAMEXICO 1968 surrounding it. The reverse shows the National Mexican Arms (depicting the Mexican eagle with a serpent in its beak). The reverse has the legend "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANO" along the edge. The reverse also shows the denomination and silver purity as 0.720 as well as the mint mark Mo. A beautiful coin with full and brilliant mint luster and well-preserved details. This is KM 479.1 weighing ~22.5 gm of 72.0% silver and measuring about 37 mm. It has the letters "INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD" stamped along the edge of the coin. The coin is graded MS 67 (Mint State 67) by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded MS 67 (Mint State 67) by NGC and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. The coin is brilliant uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The coin retains all of its original mint luster. The high points of the coin show no wear and the fields are clear and without any blemishes. The reverse shows nice details of the arms and the cactus plant on which the eagle is perched. The coin is clean and has great eye appeal.
