Nice 1944 One Franc Brass Coin Belgian Congo Elephant Moving Left XF+ w/ Luster
Description: A beautiful extremely fine or much better 1944 Belgian Congo one franc brass coin. The coin depicts an African elephant moving left on the obverse with the date below. The reverse shows the denomination flanked by stars and indication that the coin if from the Bank of Belgian Congo. This is KM 26, weighs ~2.5 gm. and is ~19 mm. Condition: I would grade the coin as extremely fine or much better with residual luster throughout. It has minor wear to the highest points commensurate with its age and circulated state. The coin has all of its details being very well preserved and has nice eye appeal. The coin is beautiful and has some toning especially on the elephant's body.
